Kompass Komodo Term and Condition

By making a reservation through Kompass Komodo, all customers are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions:


1. Role of Kompass Komodo

Kompass Komodo operates as a travel agency (Third Party) that connects customers (Second Party) with boat operators (First Party).
Kompass Komodo does not operate or manage vessels directly.


2. Product & Service Information

Kompass Komodo is responsible for providing accurate information regarding itinerary, pricing, schedules, and facilities based on official data supplied by the boat operators.

All information is subject to change according to provider policies and operational conditions.


3. Booking & Payment Policy

  • A minimum 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation.

  • The remaining balance must be paid directly to the boat provider during check-in on departure day (unless otherwise stated).

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after deposit payment has been received and verified.


4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • All cancellations follow the official cancellation policy of the boat provider.

  • Deposits may be non-refundable, depending on operator regulations.

  • Kompass Komodo facilitates communication but does not determine refund decisions.


5. Force Majeure

Schedule changes or trip cancellations may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • High sea waves

  • Technical vessel issues

  • Port authority restrictions

  • Government regulations

All decisions are made by the operator for passenger safety.


6. Service Responsibility

All onboard services including accommodation, meals, safety, crew service, and activities are fully under the responsibility of the boat operator.

Kompass Komodo acts only as a communication bridge between guests and providers.


7. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are required to:

  • Arrive on time at meeting points

  • Provide accurate personal information

  • Follow onboard rules and safety instructions

  • Take responsibility for personal belongings


8. Health & Insurance

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit for travel.

Kompass Komodo strongly recommends purchasing personal travel insurance.


9. Media Documentation

Photos and videos taken during the trip may be used for promotional purposes unless guests submit written objections in advance.

By proceeding with booking and payment, guests confirm acceptance of:
